Accompanying persons and delegates will find much to explore in the City of Bristol, the character of which has been significantly shaped by its history of maritime trade. Local landmarks include the River Avon, which runs through the centre of the city, the historic floating harbour & quayside and Brunel’s magnificent suspension bridge.
The beautiful neighbouring City of Bath is a World Heritage Site, famed for its Roman and Georgian buildings, and is well worth a visit. A picture is below.
The workshop registration rate for accompanying persons is 200 GBP (to include a shared room in university accommodation) or 100 GBP (exclusive of accommodation). Both these fees include all meals other than the Workshop Dinner on 19 July (which is bookable separately at a cost of 40 GBP), all social activities and coach transport to Birmingham on Sunday, 21 July.
A reduced fee will apply to accompanying persons who are residents of certain countries (see the registration site for further details).
