Poster Communication Guidelines
Guidelines for poster presentations
Poster dimensions for the Teaching Workshop are standard A0 in portrait orientation (i.e. height greater than width). This is equivalent to 1189 mm tall by 841 mm wide (or 46 inches tall by 33 inches wide). This is the same size and orientation as posters submitted to the main congress in Birmingham; the same poster may be displayed at both events.
Each poster has been allocated to one of four subject ‘tracks’ within the Teaching Workshop programme. A list of poster titles and authors, organised by track, is available here.
Poster mounting and viewing
Posters allocated to Tracks 1 and 3 will be displayed throughout Friday July 19th. They should be mounted by 09:00 on Friday and removed by 17:30 on Friday. These posters should be manned between 13:00 and 13:45 during lunchtime on Friday.
Posters allocated to Tracks 2 and 4 will be displayed throughout Saturday July 20th. They should be mounted by 09:00 on Saturday and removed by 18:00 on Saturday. These posters should be manned between 13:15 and 14:00 during lunchtime on Saturday.
Poster discussion and prizes
A poster discussion session will be held on the morning of Sunday 21st at which poster prizes donated by Wiley-Blackwell and by the Education and Teaching Theme of The Physiological Society will also be awarded.
